Description
Vintage Notes
The 2021 growing season began with early summer rains that reduced yields, followed by record heat and prolonged dry conditions. These factors led to small crops with concentrated fruit, producing wines with structure, intensity, and depth across the Willamette Valley.
Crafted from a blend of Pinot Noir clones including Pommard, 667, 777, 115, and 114, this Dundee Hills Pinot Noir integrates multiple blocks into a cohesive expression of the vintage. As a cuvée, it reflects the integration of distinct vineyard elements into a balanced whole.
Tasting Notes
The 2021 Cuvée Pinot Noir opens with aromas of spice and forest floor, layered with notes of anise and nutmeg. The palate is savory and concentrated, with red fruit alongside dried fig and black pepper, finishing long and structured.
