Description
The 2019 Brut Rosé represents a significant milestone for our winery, being our second sparkling wine but the first under our new name, Domaine Lumineux. Crafted using the traditional method, this elegant wine is made from Pommard Clone Pinot Noir grapes harvested from Block H of our estate vineyard. It matured on tirage for 3.5 years, resulting in a wine of exceptional quality. The juice spent only a few hours in contact with the skins, imparting a beautiful light pink hue.
Due to harvesting early, we achieved lower sugar levels and higher acidity in the fruit, lending the wine a bright and refreshing crispness. In the glass, the 2019 Brut Rosé reveals notes of rose hip and cranberry, complemented by subtle hints of freshly baked bread. The extended aging in the bottle has brought forth flavors of stone fruit, including white peach and apricot, while maintaining its vibrancy with delightful strawberry notes. This delicate Rosé has light and dry finish and is sure to impress.
Domaine Lumineux wines are made exclusively from fruit grown on our 42-acre, LIVE certified, sustainable vineyard located in the Dundee Hills of Oregon’s Willamette Valley.
