Description
Vintage Notes
The 2021 Chardonnay showcases a remarkable vintage for Oregon wine. Heavy rains in the early summer of 2021, impacted pollination in the vineyard and resulted in a very light fruit crop. This was followed by record setting heat and extreme dry conditions throughout the summer, which proved to be beneficial for optimal grape ripening. The combination of low yield and ample warmth produced wines of exceptional balance, intensity, and grace in the Willamette Valley. 2021 is a remarkable vintage for Oregon, offering much to be excited about for winemakers and wine enthusiasts alike.
Tasting Notes
Subtle hints of brioche, white peach, and Meyer lemon delicately mingle, creating a balance of aromas that are both rich and refreshingly bright. As you take a sip, the citrus notes come to the forefront, accompanied by a lively acidity that brings the palate to life. A touch of flint adds an intriguing layer of complexity, resulting in a refined, mineral-driven profile that promises to satisfy.
